MASSport is a fun, interactive way for our youngest companions on the journey to discover that the parish belongs to them, too.
Children collect stamps as they participate in the life of OLBS: attending Mass, joining Children's Liturgy of the Word, bringing up the gifts, learning prayers, participating in devotions, serving others, attending parish events, and trying something new.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
During select Sunday Masses from September to May, children are invited to hear and explore the Word of God in a way especially suited to them before returning to celebrate the Eucharist with the whole assembly. No registration required, just follow our calendar to know which Mass hosts CLW and join in.
Busy Bags
Sometimes little hands need to stay busy while little hearts and minds learn how to be at Mass. Busy Bags are available for our youngest parishioners.
Just grab one from the rack on your way into church and return it when Mass is over.
Cougar Cubs
Our littlest Cougars — and their grown-ups — can make friends and begin building community with other young OLBS families.

Wiggles, whispers, laughter — and yes, even the occasional cry — are part of parish life.
At OLBS, we believe children learn to be part of the Church by being part of the Church. We don’t expect little ones to worship like little adults, and we don’t ask families with active, curious, eager, or restless children to worship somewhere else.
So bring them to Mass. Let them watch. Let them wonder. Let them learn the responses. Let them ask questions. Let them grow into the rhythms of our faith.
Busy Bags are available on racks in the vestibule for little hands that need something to do, and Children’s Liturgy of the Word helps young children encounter Sunday’s Scriptures in a way designed especially for them from September to May.
The sounds of children in our pews are signs that our parish is alive — and that another generation is learning that they belong at OLBS.
You don’t have to know exactly where to begin. You don’t have to do everything.
Come to Mass. Try an event. Learn a prayer together. Serve a neighbor. Introduce yourself to another family. Let your child stamp their MASSport. Spend a few minutes with Jesus.
