Giving Season

As the most wonderful time of the year approaches, we’re gearing up for our 2025 Season of Giving. As St. Francis of Assisi reminds us, “it is in giving that we receive.” So, we’re decking the halls with opportunities to spread Christmas cheer near and far. From toy drives and teen mission trips to angel trees and gift cards galore, there are many ways to give, serve and share Christmas joy.

Expand below and read all the way to the end to see every way you can get into the holiday spirit with Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish this year.

Christmas Elves | Nov 1 to Nov 16.

Join us in making the holiday season brighter for the orphans at the Mission of Our Lady of Angels. We invite you to participate in our stocking stuffer and toy drive, where your generous donations will bring smiles and warmth to these young hearts. Look for Wish Lists and Collection Bins in our vestibules. Teens from our Youth Ministry will sort the goodies and fill stockings at their November 19th meeting. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 24th, Mr. Van and teens will bring all the gifts to the Mission of Our Lady of Angels.

Teens, earn service hours by helping at the November 16th meeting or toy delivery on November 28th.

Christmas Angels | Nov 15/16 Adopt a Family | Dec 13/14 Drop Gifts in the “Sleigh.”

Be an angel to local families living below the poverty level. Our Christmas Angels program allows you to "adopt" a family and purchase Christmas gifts for each member. Your kindness will light up their homes and warm their hearts during this special time of year. Look for Angel Trees in our vestibules when you attend Mass the weekend of November 15th and 16th. The weekend of December 13th and 14th, the sleigh will pull up to collect gifts for delivery to families. All gifts should be delivered wrapped and assembled into a box or bag with the family number visible for delivery.

Teens, earn service hours helping Mrs. Villano load the “sleigh.”

WINGS Pantry Drive | Nov 23 – Dec 14.

Lift a hand in compassion to support the WINGS Program helping survivors of domestic abuse by collecting household and personal essentials through our WINGS Pantry Drive. Your donations will provide much-needed relief and comfort to those who have experienced hardship. All items should be NEW. Look for Wish Lists and Collection Bins in our vestibules.
