Uncaged Art. October 15 – 29, 2023 at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, 1072 Ridge Ave, Elk Grove Village. See beautiful and inspiring artwork created by migrant children being held in detention.
Susan Tassone Book Signing and Presentation. October 19, 2023 at 7pm at St. Theresa Parish. Hear regular EWTN guest and award-winning author, Susan Tassone, speak about grief and loss.
Northwest Families March for Life. October 21, 2023 from 1-3pm at St. Theresa Dolan Center Gymnasium. Join OLBS and neighboring Respect Life Ministries to support a culture of life from conception until natural death.
Scout Troops 95B & 95G Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. October 28, 2023 from 3-6pm at Christus Victor Lutheran Church 1045 S. Arlington Heights Rd. $10 All you can eat.
First Friday Club Chicago. Next lunch, November 3, 2023 with incredible speakers and lunch at the Union League Club.
Joyful Again. November 4 – 5, 2023 at Nazareth Retreat House in Batavia, Illinois. A retreat/workshop for widowed men and women.
Divorce Care Ministry. Begins November 10, 2023 at Our Lady of the Wayside Gathering Place, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. This support group is open to any divorced person and is not limited to OLW parishioners. We will present the “Surviving Divorce” course from Ascension Media and request a $20 fee to help defray the cost of the text. Our friends at Christus Victor, supported by parishioners from here at OLBS, will be reopening their PADS site this Winter beginning November 12th. If you would like to be on the alternate volunteer list, please contact the parish office.
