“This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” – Matthew 26:28

MISSION STATEMENT

Our OLBS Liturgical Ministries—including Sacristans, Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, Lectors, Ushers and Altar Servers—serve God and his people by assisting the Priest and parish community with worship and celebration of the Eucharist at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days.

VISION

To support the Pastor in providing a warm and welcoming space for worship that fosters a sense of belonging for all OLBS parishioners, guests and visitors.

time & talent

We invite registered parishioners who are regular participants in Eucharistic liturgy—willing to make a commitment to serve at times they are scheduled and meet certain age requirements—to join our Liturgical Ministries. Training provided; please check our events page or contact the office (847) 979-0901 or info@olbsegv.org to learn more about upcoming Ministerial Workshops.
