Annulment Info Night

Are you considering pursuing an annulment? Do you have questions about the process and requirements? The Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Chicago is pleased to present a free Annulment Info Night at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Elk Grove Village on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:00pm.

Do any of the following situations sound familiar?

  • You’re a divorced Catholic who has fallen in love and wants to remarry in the Church.
  • You’re a divorced non-Catholic who has fallen in love, and your Catholic fiancé wants to marry in the Catholic Church.
  • You’re divorced and already remarried [Catholic or non-Catholic] and you want to bring your civil marriage into the Church.
  • You’re a divorced non-Catholic who wants to become Catholic and also remarry.
  • You’re a divorced Catholic who wants the option to remarry in the Church in the future.
  • You’re a divorced Catholic who is looking into getting an annulment for “peace of mind.”

During this informative evening, experienced members of the Tribunal will provide an overview of the annulment process and answer any questions you may have. You will learn about the grounds for annulment, the steps involved in pursuing an annulment, and the support and resources available to you throughout the process.

The Annulment Info Night is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about annulments, including those who may be considering pursuing an annulment, as well as friends and family members who want to provide support.

The event will take place in Shea Hall at St. Julian Eymard, 601 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village (across from the hospital.) Refreshments will be served.

Please note that this event is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal or pastoral advice. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:00pm for an informative and supportive evening. So that we know how many we will be, kindly follow this link to RSVP.
