FIND YOUR WAY

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament is blessed with two worship sites (see above to map the location):

Queen of the Rosary Church (QR) is located at 750 W. Elk Grove Blvd in Elk Grove Village,  at the corner of Elk Grove Blvd and Rev Morris Blvd in front of Rainbow Falls. QR has ample parking and the main entrance is on the North side of the church. There is an accessible ramp at the main entrance.

St. Julian Eymard Church (SJE) is located at 601 Biesterfield Road in Elk Grove Village, across the street from the Hospital and Pirate’s Cove. The main entrance is at the top of the steps on the North side of the church, but there is an accessible entrance on the East side of the church.

Parish Offices are located at SJE. Enter through the main entrance at the top of the steps, and once inside the vestibule look for the door on the East side, marked Parish Offices. Offices are located behind that door and office hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm and Friday, 9am to Noon. If you would like to meet with clergy or specific staff, we recommend scheduling an appointment to insure the party you wish to meet with is on site. Follow this link to schedule a meeting with our pastor, Fr. Dan Folwaczny.

Our Queen of the Rosary School (QR School), a 2011 Blue Ribbon School serving Pre K through 8th Grade, is located at 690 Elk Grove Blvd in Elk Grove Village, IL.

MEET THE CLERGY

Our clergy are not only here to lead our community in worship but also to be a part of our daily lives. They are approachable, understanding, and eager to connect with each and every one of us. So, whether you want to discuss matters of faith, seek guidance or simply share a friendly conversation, remember that our priests are here for you.

One of our beloved priests is our Pastor, Fr. Dan Folwaczny, an incredibly kind and patient individual. If you ever have the chance to meet him, don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation. Besides being a great listener, Fr. Dan is known for his cool rides. He drives a bright blue hybrid truck, and in nice weather rides his bike, which reflect his commitment to environmentally friendly practices. If you’re curious about his truck or simply want to engage in a friendly chat, don’t hesitate to approach Fr. Dan.

Another remarkable member of our clergy is our Associate Pastor, Fr. Louis Marthe Mboe, a priest with a zest for adventure. In addition to emigrating from Cameroon by way of Colombia, Fr. Louis recently learned how to ride a motorcycle. If you’re a fellow motorbike enthusiast or simply curious about his two-wheeled companion, Fr. Louis will be more than happy to share stories and engage in conversation. Don’t hesitate to approach him and discover his love for the open road.

And rounding out our clergy team is our Deacon, Mr. Jerrold Szostak, a very warm and friendly man. In addition to helping with liturgies, Dcn Jerry leads our Baptismal Preparation, co-leads our Thursday Evening Bible Study and participates in the Men’s Group. When he isn’t helping at Church, Dcn Jerry can likely be found on the golf course, weather permitting. If you run into Dcn Jerry, ask him how his golf game is.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament is described as a warm and friendly parish, and we pride ourselves on being just that. We’re pretty laid back and comfortable with each other and want you to be comfortable too. If you’re visiting us for the first time, we suggest arriving about 10-15 minutes early. Please introduce yourself to an Usher or Greeter and let them know if you have any questions. And don’t forget to ask for a Welcome Packet and grab a parish bulletin to see current parish news and learn about upcoming events.
